iPhone Music App – iRadio App

I just discovered the iRadio App for the iPhone and I can’t stop raving about it. Utilizing radio playlists from Yes.com and song playbacks by seeqpod the iRadio App lets you view, replay, read lyrics and email the last 5 songs played on all of the major radio stations within your city. Being a huge fan of XM Radio both for it’s depth of music genres and the ability to know what I’m listening to this iRadio App brings me back to some of my local radio stations.Unfortunately if you live in a small town the iRadio App will not be listing your radio station. It is however a great way to see what’s hot in New York City, Los Angeles or Seattle.

Currently the iRadio App serves the following cities: Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Columbus (Ohio), Dallas, Detroit, El Paso, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Little Rock, LA, Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, NYC, Orlando, Philadephia, Phoeniz, Pittsburgh, Porland (Oregon), Providence (RI), St, Louis, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle and Washington DC.

In Boston the iRadio Application lists music from WBOS (92.9), Mike FM (93.7), JAMN 94.5, Mix 98.5, WCRB (99.50), WZLX Classic Rock (100.7), WFNX 101.7, WBCN (104.1), MAGIC (106.7), WAAF (107.3), and WXKS (107.9).

  2. I have found a very cool website http://www.radiotagr.com

You hear a song on the radio. You wonder, “Who’s the artist?”, “What’s the name of that song?”

RadioTAGr tells you! You can see what is currently playing on the radio from your phone (mobile device) …

And SO COOL … you can save (TAG) the song into your RadioTAGr account !

Later you can buy it from iTunes or just remember your tune (-:

I think you should check it out….

  3. http://www.radiohog.com is a cool alternative
